* NK 14 and 15 - FRANCE - single 4 skilling together with horizontal pair of 8 skilling Coat of Arms 1867 = 20 skilling cancelled "Christiania 9.10.1868" on a beautiful double rate registered cover sent to Pau. On the front red boxed "PD" and "CHARGE" were both struck in Christiania. The PD states that the cover was fully paid to the destination. Postage according to regulations was 41 skilling - hence 21 skilling is missing. But no stamps have been removed from the cover. A real challenge to explain what has happened to this cover!
