Postage endorsement "23" in black and red on the front. One flap is missing on the reverse, but this is the earliest recorded cover from Argentina to Norway.

Tear in the lower part of the envelope is of minor importance and does not affect stamps or cancellations.

The stamps with missing perf in lower right corner, but this is of minor importance as franked covers from Cuba to Norway are very seldom seen from this period.

* HAITI - Michel 2, 3 and 4 - 2 cents, 3 cents and 5 cents Liberty Head = 10 cents cancelled ambulant exchange office "VERVIERS COELN 8.10" (probably 1881) on a beautiful envelope sent to Tønsberg. Manuscript endorsement "von Gonaives" is tying the stamps to the envelope. No other transit marks. A spectacular and suberb exhibition item.

On the front red "3d", "PD" in circle and "London Paid 27 JA 72". Light archive fold does not affect the stamps , and is of no importance on this colourful showpiece.
