The cover is privately brought to Honfleur and forwarded via London to Skien. Covers forwarded via England to Norway during the siege are relatively scarce.

 * ALGERIA - Michel 35 - 40 cents Ceres - seven copies = 280 cents with numeral cancellations "121" on a beautiful quadriple weight registered cover cancelled "Bone Algerie 25.11.1874" sent via Paris to Tønsberg. The registration fee was 50 cents and is probably paid in cash. So far this is the only recorded registered cover from Algeria to Norway from this period. Excellent exhibition item.
