" | NK 4 and 5 - single copy 4 skilling together with horizontal strip of three of 8 skilling Oscar = 28 skilling cancelled "Arendal 23.8.1862" on single rate cover front sent in closed mail via France and Suez to Shanghai. Transit markings "Norwege-Quieverain 3.3.1862", boxed "PP" and red Chinese arrival mark on the front. Stamps amounting 9 skilling is missing, probably from the missing back of the cover. This is one of two covers recorded sent to Asia, and the only one with the skilling Oscar issue. Even though stamps are missing, th is is a great postal history rarity for an international exhibit.
