* NK 1 - 4 skilling 1855 - single copy and vertical strip of three = 16 skilling each stamp with nice numeral cancellations "315" on a beautiful singel winter rate cover sent to Kjøbenhavn. Blue side mark "Tvedestrand 27.2.1857" and transit mark "Svinesund 28.2.1857" on the front. Due to lack of other values in 1857 the cover is underfranked by 1 skilling. The receivers name has been erased and nicely replaced by pencil, but this is of minor importance on this superb and very unusual exhibition item.

* NK 2, 3 and 5 - single copies of 2 and 3 skilling together with horizontal strip of five of 8 skilling Oscar = 45 skilling all stamps with superb numeral cancellations "25" on an exceptional and beautiful triple rate cover sent to Neustadt, Fehmern - located in Holstein - up to 1864 a Duchy of Denmark. The cover is sidemarked "Bergen 6.8.1858" in blue on the front. This is one of the most beautiful Oscar-covers to be found and the only one of its kind. An excellent international exhibition item. Arrival mark "Kjøbenhavn 22.7" on the reverse. Normal postage was 4 skilling, but the Postal clerk has obviously accepted that the cover was forwarded free of charge in Norway because of the endorsement "Portofrit" (free of charge) and the senders signature. A unique and very interesting exhibition item.
