* 3 skilling and 8 skilling Oscar - horizontal pair of 3 skilling and single 8 skilling making the 14 skilling rate for a partly paid cover sent from Mandal via Hull to Leith. The receiver had to pay 1 shilling according to endorsement. The stamps are cancelled with british numeral cancellation "383" (Hull) and the cover is sidemarked octogonal "HULL SHIP-LETTER OC 25 1857" in blue. Covers with stamps cancelled "383" are very rare, and a light filing crease through one 3 skilling, does not affect this excellent exhibition piece.
