The cover has been forwarded to Arendal by the Christiania-Christianssand route by the steamer "Prinds Carl". A beautiful cover in excellent quality. Certificate: C.A.Møller.

The strip is with numeral cancellation "51" and the cover is sidemarked "Odense 21.3.1865". Because of difficult winter sailings the cover has been brought on ice from Odense to Korsør and then forwarded via Copenhagen to Norway. Certificate: Lasse Nielsen.
