A fantastic unused copy of Norway's first stamp with full original gum. The stamp has very good to large margins, and is the only known NEVER HINGED copy.The stamp is signed Alberto Diena and has certificates from F.C.Moldenhauer 1979 and Finn Aune 1997. An excellent and unique piece. |

The only recorded unused block of four of Norway's first stamp. The block has partial gum and is from sheet positions C 6-7/16-17. It has normal to good margins on all sides. The block has a small repair on the back, but this is of no importance to a rarity like this. The block has been a part of the collections of Justus Andersen, Arnstein Berntsen, Stig Ljungren, Per Fossum and Peter Ahl, and is one of the greatest showpieces of Norwegian Philately.
